Tip for getting that smooth as possible head shave.  I use Magic Shave with aloe.  I allow the shave cream to stay on for an additional 5 minutes.  But instead of using a plastic knife to scrape it off, which causes extreme irritation to the already tender skin surface.  I  get into the shower using cool water and a wash cloth and lightly rub the head in a circular motion.  Once all hair is removed I use witch hazel to sooth the scalp.  Then I massage coco butter cream to the entire head.  I get great results and it's very inexpensive and it's one clean shaven head without any bumps or irritation.
